We had an amazing stay at The Walking Y Ranch! The vast acreage and views were absolutely wonderful! We loved that the property was incredibly secluded and totally private. The cattle surrounded the area and were very interested in us at all times without being a nuisance. The camp was fenced in with a cute, very comfy Conex, which had a full bathroom, small kitchenette, living room area, and big king size bed. We slept like rocks! Very warm and inviting.

We had a huge fire pit, access to grills, wood, and awesome trails! We downloaded an off grid mobile map of the ranch to go explore the property. We felt completely comfortable leaving the camp to go off road without the fear of getting lost.

The sunrises and sunsets are magnificent as you can see from our photos. I urge you to go explore these breathtaking views. We look forward to our next adventure to The Walking Y Ranch!

We highly recommend Walking Y as an incredible getaway for a family or group. The ranch offers an incredibly rare combination of seclusion, nature, and comfort. We loved the feeling of having a few thousand acres of separation and quiet. The campsite was comfortable and well-appointed with water, stove, and cooking gear, which made packing and traveling much easier.

There are plenty of opportunities for viewing both wildlife and livestock. There are miles of trails with great vistas, perfect for hiking, biking, or driving off road vehicles.

We were fortunate to have Brance guide a rabbit hunt for us and our two young boys. He was great with the kids, very knowledgeable and safe, and we came home with plenty of rabbits.

Keep in mind it's a working ranch, so please be respectful and safe so we can all continue to enjoy this very special place for years to come.
